“Flight attendants, prepare for landing please. Cabin crew, please take your seats for landing. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to London Airport. Local time is fun O'clock and the temperature is perfect.
Thank you for flying with Poca Air Lines!"
You take your first steps in London, it's busy with traffic you're here again! You look for your hotel to drop off your bags, and head out immediately.
First things first, you look for a nice pub to recharge your batteries and provide your body with vitamin P(ub). It depends on the time, but as far as I'm concerned you can't start quickly enough with a nice fruit juice; Cider (an alcoholic refreshment made from apple). A fun fact, in England about 4 billion liters of that liquid gold is drunk every year?
A tasty addition is the Sweet Potato Fries.
After that, you're ready to explore "The Mini Apple.
It really is the mini version of New York.
The best thing is of course to discover it yourself, but these gems are too nice not to share:

THINGS TO DO
The Shard, a perfect spot to look over the city. With its 309 meter high point, it makes it the tallest building in Europe. Taller than the Eiffel Tower. You do have to book a ticket, to enter the building to get to the highest point. The pyramid structure of glass houses a viewing gallery on the 72nd floor at 244.30 meters high.
*Tip Go to the toilet here ha ha #thankmelater
Sky Garden, a high-level tropical garden. Here you have one of the most beautiful views of London. It's a cool place to have a nice drink and think about where you still want to go.
The Emirates Air Line Cable Car, make sure you have one of Lola's delicious cupcakes (Can be picked up in Top shop store in Oxfordstreet) and take a ride across the Thames here. With a view of O2 Arena.
SHOPPING
Oxfordstreet (Selfridge, film location Love Actually)
Bondstreet
Regentstreet (Hamleys)
Strandstreet
Portobello Road (Market)
Brompton Road (Harrods)
Apple Market
Soho (Carnaby Street)
Also be sure to visit the Camden district, where there is an alternative atmosphere.
And Hyde Park is great to hang out, watch out for the squirrels who are less cute than you think haha.
And of course the über touristy places like Big Ben, London Tower, Buckingham Palace and you name it. Always fun to admire with your own eyes.
TIP: If you go by bus, only check-in is necessary. You pay per time here instead of distances.
Put your cell phone away, and enjoy!
Lots of love, Malou.
